​​WHAT IS LIFT?

'LIFT' IS A FULLY COACHED CLASS THAT UTILISES OLYMPIC AND POWER LIFTING TECHNIQUES ALONG WITH BODYWEIGHT AND GYMNASTIC EXERCISES TO GIVE YOU A FULL BODY WORKOUT. ALL THE WORKOUTS ARE DESIGNED TO BE FUN AND CHALLENGING. 


WHAT IS OPEN GYM?

SOMETIMES YOU JUST WANT TO COME IN AND LIFT HEAVY ASS WEIGHTs AND OTHER DAYS YOU WANT TO PUSH YOUR HEART RATE TO THE MAX. USE THE OPEN GYM SESSIONS TO COME IN AND USE THE FACILITIES TO TRAIN HOW YOU WANT. A COACH WILL STILL BE ON HAND TO ENSURE YOU ARE SAFE AND HELP WITH ANY ADVICE.

PLEASE NOTE LIFT FITNESS IS A MEMBERS ONLY GYM AND IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR DROP-IN PAY AS YOU GO SESSIONS WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL FROM a coach (DROP US AN EMAIL AT coach@lift-fitness.co.uk IF you wish to use our studio for training).  


DO I NEED TO BE SUPER FIT TO JOIN?

Not at all, Everybody HAS TO START SOMEWHERE AND THAT IS WHY AT LIFT WE SCALE EVERYTHING TO YOUR CAPABILITY. BOOK YOURSELF IN FOR A FREE CONSULTATION AND WE CAN HELP EASE ANY CONCERNS YOU HAVE. 


I HAVE A MEDICAL CONDITION, CAN I JOIN?

THIS IS A TRICKY ONE, AS IT DEPENDS ON YOUR CONDITION. DROP US AN EMAIL LISTING YOUR CURRENT HEALTH PROBLEMS AND WE'LL LET YOU KNOW WHETHER THIS FORM OF EXERCISE IS BOTH SAFE AND SUITABLE FOR YOU. FOR ANY CONDITIONS WE ARE UNSURE OF WE WILL ASK YOU TO PROVIDE A DOCTOR'S CONSENT LETTER.


WILL THIS HELP WITH LOSING WEIGHT?

ABSOLUTELY! OUR WORKOUTS ARE PURPOSELY SET OUT TO TRAIN YOUR BODY IN ALL THREE OF THE ENERGY SYSTEMS, INCLUDING THE AEROBIC ENERGY SYSTEM THAT IS OPTIMUM FOR FAT BURNING POTENTIAL. BY TRAINING REGULARLY and eating correctly YOU WILL BECOME LEANER, Fitter, STRONGER AND LOOK TOTALLY AWESOME NAKED!


I'M KEEN TO BUILD MUSCLE IS LIFT RIGHT FOR ME?

YOU BETCHA! OLYMPIC AND POWER LIFTING MOVEMENTS UTILISE YOUR MAJOR MUSCLES AND IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR GROWTH YOU'LL GET IT HERE. FOR PURE MUSCLE GAIN YOU MAY WANT TO TRAIN A FEW DAYS ATTENDING THE LIFT CLASSES AND A FEW DAYS PUMPING IRON ON AN OPEN GYM SESSION. YOUR COACH WILL ALWAYS BE ON HAND TO TALK THROUGH THE BEST OPTIONS FOR YOU.
